The unique estate is situated on almost three acres in a gated community with nearly 700 feet of lakefrontage and features 31,000 square feet of living space, 12 bedrooms, and an array of luxurious amenities.

Shaq bought the house in 1990, which was originally constructed in 1993. The house underwent several renovations under the ownership of Shaq, who customized it according to his taste.

The Most Impressive Hallmark

The most notable feature is a 6,000-square-foot indoor basketball court labeled “Shaq Centre” bearing the Miami Heat logo (he played for the team from 2004 to 2008).

Outside Features

Outside, the sportscaster’s residence features a 95-foot-long swimming pool with a waterfall and an outside bar. The backyard continues to a long pier on the lake with a dining space at the end.

Other Cooler Amenities

A sound-proof home theatre, a 1,400-square-foot tobacco and wine bar area, an aquarium-style room with a fish tank, a gaming room, three furnaces, and a showroom-style garage with enough for at least 17 automobiles are also included. A five-bedroom guest house is also on the site.

Hillman’s and Shaq’s Interaction

Hillman, the property dealer, was on floor duty when he received a call from an unrecognizable number regarding a genuinely unique listing. The caller introduced himself as Shaq and expressed his intention to sell his house.

Hearing this, Hillman replied, “It’s about time you called me.” Shaq laughed and continued, “I’ve heard about you. I’m calling you because they refer to you as the closest.”

The agent mentions that four other agencies had tried to sell the house in the last few years. “I was fortunate No. 5.” “Shaq trusted me to find him a buyer, and I assured him that I was the right agent for the job,” he claimed.
